For many years Holy Cross Church has had close links with other churches in the area through Goldington Churches Together. Since Pentecost 2000 we have had a formal commitment with Priory Methodist Church and St Mary’s (C of E) Church. We are pleased to have also developed links with other churches and individual ministers. These include the Word of Faith Centre in 2010 and the University of Bedfordshire Chaplaincy in 2016.

North Bedford Churches Together (NBCT) is a group which started after the AGM of Goldington Churches Together on May 16th 2019. It includes all the churches which belonged to Goldington Churches Together and new churches have joined. These are Ss Philip & James Church and Putnoe Heights. We are pleased to have also developed a link with Renhold Church. The areas covered include Goldington, Putnoe, Brickhill and Renhold.  We look forward to the new group of churches working together in partnership.

Our aim as a local Churches Together group is to grow closer together by witnessing, worshipping, studying, ministering and serving together in the local community. We are able to achieve more by working together. A good example of this is the Foodbank – which supports many local families thanks to volunteers from different churches.

Events which we may be involved in during the year are listed below. For our latest activities, please see the newsletter.
